We journeyed through the entire six regions of Nigeria, engaging with and listening to key stakeholders, including students, teachers, community leaders, local education authorities and school administrators to assess existing community resources, understand digital access gaps and establish needs for online learning. By conducting these in-person, one-on-one digital inequity surveys, we experienced first-hand the various elements of the digital equity challenges faced by our beneficiaries and this enabled us to propose detailed strategies for these rural schools, communities and households to take advantage of free online learning resources.
